Step 3 - Host Your Files

OK, lets host your files that you have already make it on the previous tutorial

If you want to host your file, you must have some FTP Program. The function of FTP program is transfer your file on your computer to the internet. I will show you how to make your web site page ONLINE!

1. Download first the FTP software on the internet. Some good software is WSFTP and CuteFTP, but its not FREE. So.. i think you like something FREE.. i suggest you to use this software, called Filezilla (Its FREE)

2. Install and open the Filezilla program, and keep it open, OK.

3. browse to www.000webhost.com and scroll down to the bottom and click "client login"

4. Enter your email and password to enter the member page

5. Click on the "manage account" and then click "view account details"

6. You will see the all the information about your hosting account and keep this information is safe.

7. The important thing is your domain, user name and password that created by the hosting services.

8. Go back to your Filezilla and input the hosting information

9. Input your Address with : ftp.yourdomain.com, for example if your domain is blabla.000webhost.info, so input the address with ftp.blabla.000webhost.info



Also Input the username and password in your hosting account. If you already input the Address, Username, and Password, then click "Quick_connect"

10. Wait until it's ready until you see like this screen :



The left bar (Local Site) is your computer drive and the right bar (remote bar) is the internet drive.

11. You must upload the file (index.html) in the public_html folder, so you must click on the "Public_html"



Right click on the index.html file in your computer and then choose "Upload"

12. DONE, your file is already host on the internet

13. Test your site in your internet browser

Step 2 - Build Your Web Site Page

OK the next step is build your web site page.

I will show you the simplest way to build your web site page. And of course for FREE

1. You need a web site software editor to make all of this thing. The most popular is Dreamweaver and Front Page, but it is not FREE, so i suggest you to use this program called "NVU" (its FREE).

Download the software first in here : download NVU

2. After installation on your computer, let start with NVU program

3. OK lets do a new project and write your web site page. For example i just write "Hello, this is my first FREE Web Site Builder"

4. Then save the file on your computer with this name "index.html", because index page will be recognize as the main page.

5. You can click on your file to see what thats look like in the internet. But it still off-line.

Step 1 - Setting Domain Name and Hosting

Today’s technology is strengthening at a tremendous speed; the internet has become a vital resource for the majority of the population and counting. More and more people are exponentially learning to use the internet on a daily basis. The internet is a BOOMING industry as you may know.

The first important thing is the domain name. The domain name is the name that used for the internet, for example like google.com, yahoo.com, blogger.com, or yourdomainname.com.

The second thing is the hosting. Hosting is a storage to keep your files on the internet. Just like hard disc on your computer, but the hosting is placed over the internet.

You can purchase the domain name and hosting in many web hosting and domain services. But i will show you the FREE way. OK.

So.. let get started to FREE Web Site Builder

1. Register first in here : 000webhost.com

2. Click on the button "Order Now"

3. Choose the "free subdomain" because for the full domain you should pay first. Input the name whatever you like in the free subdomain name, for example blabla, so your domain name is http://blabla.000webhost.info

4. Input your personal data registration, like name, email, city, and so on. Make sure your email address is correct and you agree with their term and services.

5. Next step is phone number verification. Enter your mobile phone number with international dialing code. They will verify your registration by SMS in your mobile phone and you will be get the access code.

6. Finish and verify your access code that you get on your mobile phone and register in the website.
